It matches the sales in the data you provide to earlier acquisitions, first-in, first-out within each account, and applies the holding-period and Form 8949 box rules described on this site. It is not tax advice and doesn't file anything. It relies on your file being complete and its USD values being right, it can't see your Forms 1099-DA, and it doesn't cover state taxes, NFTs, DeFi, derivatives or wash sales. You remain responsible for your returns. Lotsift is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the IRS, any exchange or any tax software company.

Free plan

The free plan lets you check files of any size and see the 2026 totals, the totals by box, the harvest view, every check and the first 10 Form 8949 lines.

Pro

Pro is licensed per person. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; the 7-day pass expires after 7 days. Refunds are available within 14 days if Lotsift can't read your file or matches your lots incorrectly.

Acceptable use

Don't resell or redistribute license keys.
